A dumbed down and sanitized version of the original 2009 French movie. If you've never seen nor have any intention of seeing the original then this one is good. I'd suggest you skip this one and check out the original.

i saw this movie, and honestly it's really good and Troian's acting is fantasic. I know people are rooting for the OG Martyrs. But the OG Martyrs is depressing and very extremely gory. At least with this version it is gory to a certain extend. I really enjoyed it.

I would call this diet martyrs but that would imply that this had anything left of martyrs in it. It's almost as if they flayed the original film like the girl from the original leaving nothing but an empty husk with nothing left of its identity.
