The fourth installment in the Avengers saga is the culmination of 22 interconnected Marvel films and the climax of an epic journey. Ticks all the boxes for fanbois - token brief scenes for the entire catalog of characters, anyone? - but can't say there's anything memorable about it; even the usual humour seemed somewhat formulaic. Nothing particularly wrong with it but felt like they threw scripts from every other movie into a blender and spat out a Marvel Smoothie that didn't taste of anything.

Really enjoyed this at the cinema but don't agree with some of the concepts. Seeing some people may be watching it for the first time, I won't elaborate. Maybe a second viewing will show I missed something first time around? And, If you have developed an emotional investment in the characters (like I have unwittingly done lol), it will take you on a bit of a rollercoaster ride. I've never been in a screening where the audience loudly cheers during some key moments.

It was just a rushed conclusion, I feel. It's still a good movie (although long for some people who might not be diehard marvel fans), but still looks to have satisfied most peoples expectations. Just imo, Infinity war was Marvels magnus opum and far better paced, throughout.
