この映画について

Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel takes you on a spectacular adventure from the 1990s, tracing the path of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as she becomes one of the most powerful heroes in the universe. When a galactic war reaches Earth, she meets young agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) at the center of a maelstrom, leading to her ultimate destiny as an Avenger!

The movie did a great way of explaining events that occured in all MCU films. Such as Nick Fury's "last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye" quote, the Tesseract's history of events on who had owned it before hand, and the scene in the post-credit scene of I.W. where Fury finally gets in touch with the device to call Danvers seeking for help after the defeat of the Avengers. Not only that, but the message implied in the movie was quite meaningful, especially for younger kids. Another thing to add is the topic of how people say that the actor for Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel "isn't accurate" by this they specifically mean her body shape. For me, I don't appreciate when people say this because: 1) Its offensive 2) She did workouts for months to get into shape for her role and lastly 3) Nobody is perfect So yeah, these were my final thoughts on the film

Many factors besides the following contributed to me getting a refund at the Regal RPX 3D showing but most of all it had to do with this: Non Character Development and for lack of a better word Shoehorning or Injection of Pandering to SJW mentality. Directors & Kevin Feige removed any type of good character development that could have occurred & presented to us a female heroine not made strong through development but instead we get the archetype Mary Sue Deus Ex Machina character to come in and shoehorned by third wave feminism into MCU in place of good plot storytelling. The above was not my only issue they Retroactively Ruin Ronan the villain from GotG (this is not a spoiler, if your a GotG fan you will be angry at what they do) & they completely ruin a massive Marvel Comics plot line of the Secret Wars to pander another issue of Skrulls just wanting a home. Overall it gets a 2/5 here on Google Play Ratings I did like how seamless the de-aging CGI was and the opening Stan Lee tribute but I'm not spending my money nor allowing a company to keep my money for spoon feeding pandering. This was the first film I have walked out of that I have seen in theaters in about 7 years.

One of the better MCU origin stories, for two reasons. The first reason is that it's among the origins that has high stakes but doesn't require the entire world to be on the line (which IMHO is a lazy storytelling habit). The second reason is that it immediately ADDS to the larger MCU instead of using what's present to build the story. Black Panther & GotG both did this as well, which I would argue is why I love those MCU titles too. Another cool thing about this movie is that you could place it way at the beginning of the MCU film timeline (after Cap 1) if you want that sequential Marvel timeline, or you could leave it right where it is before Avengers: Endgame because it sets up this growing Marvel Universe in unexpected ways. The movie does more than triple-duty by: delivering some foundation & structure to the growing MCU; providing setup & reinforcement for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame; opening a large source for future characters; introducing a new character in a way that isn't just a replay of previous origin stories. One last thing for the undecided: this movie is just as much an 'origin' story for Nick Fury as it is an origin for Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers).
