Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel takes you on a spectacular adventure from the 1990s, tracing the path of Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as she becomes one of the most powerful heroes in the universe. It has some really awesome moments but those are very far and few between. Carol is a very uninspired, boring and emotionless character. Maybe even the worst character in the MCU to be given a movie all on their own. I watched this with my wife, every moment Carol gets knocked down (then they show the montage of white men knocking her down and saying she "can't do something) my wife rolled her eyes and I laughed hysterically. I got some good laughs, but this movie certainly didn't do much for me

Subverts expectations. Carol Danvers displays the kind of heroism we need in Marvel. She makes a great addition to the Avengers and this origin story sets the stage for future installments of this franchise, as well as setting up the future of the Avengers. I continue to rewatch this show for its excitement, dramatic moments, and comedy. The moments Carol Danvers shares with Maria Rambeau were heartfelt, and one scene made me cry (in a good way). <3 Overall i loved it! We need more movies like this.

All of the sudden she is captain Marvel 🙄 Like how many years Marvel has been a thing I thought that maybe "captain" Marvel would be a boy like Captain America or Thor or something. But not a girl who was just introduced! I think that this movie was not needed!! She isn't and never will be the "captain". A girl shouldn't be the leader. Even though I am a girl it just doesn't feel right! They never should have made this movie...
