신의 세계를 어지럽힌 천둥의 신, 인간의 세계로 추방당하다! 파괴를 일삼는 '요툰하임'을 제압한 왕 '오딘'의 통치로 평화로운 나날을 보내고 있는 신의 세계 '아스가르드'. 오딘의 아들인 '토르'의 왕위 계승식이 있던 날, 요툰하임의 지배자인 '라우페이'는 신들 간의 평화 협정을 위반하고 아스가르드를 침입한다. 이 사건으로 인해 왕위에 오르지 못한 토르는 분노와 모욕감에 복수를 계획하고 요툰하임을 공격한다. 하지만 막강한 요툰하임의 군대에 포위된 토르는 위기에 몰리게 되고, 이를 알게 된 오딘은 토르의 오만하고 경솔한 행동에 분노해 그의 신으로서의 능력과 해머 '묠니르'를 박탈한 채 인간 세계 '미스가르드'로 추방한다.

평가 및 리뷰

A little slow, it's not terrible but I wish it had more action, however the portrayal of the foreign worlds Asgard and Jotunheim are amazing and this is the first film in the MCU to not be set entirely on Earth. Also an introduction to Hawkeye who doesn't have a big role in this one but will later on

I love this story. Thor's evolution from selfish entitled brat to sacrificial hero. For it's time, beautifully depicted, well scripted. Even now actually. Odin and Loki are amazing characters, as well Heimdal and his famous line "Then I need no longer obey you." Excellent writing, good flow, fun story, fun movie. Easy to watch again every now and then, also with touches of humor, but not overpowering humor or silliness like the modern MCU.

In my personal opinion I think that this movie gave us a great version of thor the one that we know and love from the comics and chris Hemsworth brought character to life with his incredible acting skills and the itself had its moments from the emotional side of the story to the funny side this movie nailed the making of every element of thor his character his personality his family etc, the Cinematography is beautiful and asgard looks stunning overall I think marvel nailed it highly recommended
