Might Thanos was died in last scene, but unfortunately He had Soul Infinity Stone. When he died, he was met with Gamora which asking about his action to destroy universe. Thanos still have another life in next sequel, End Game - which this word was mentioned by Doctor Strange in end of his life. So it's make sense to watch Avengers : End Game.
