Mary Shelley tells the story of Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin - author of one of the world’s most famous Gothic novels ‘Frankenstein’ - and her fiery, tempestuous relationship with re-nowned romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley. The pair are two outsiders constrained by po-lite society but bound together by a natural chemistry and progressive ideas that are beyond the boundaries of their age and time.

Great movie, beautifully shot and wrote but fairly historically inaccurate! Really makes Percy look worse than he was, I suggest follow up research!

A little stolid in direction at times but engaging. Elle Fanning gives her usual brilliant performance.

Absolutely terrific, and true to Mary Shelly’s character.
