What a wonderful movie with charming storytelling thanks to the portrayal of Asperger's syndrome handled in a positive matter and how one with such disability struggles through life. There is also a lot of dark humor that gets you laughing throughout the film and keeping you engaged to the point of Mary and Max feeling poetic. Definitely give this a watch. Masterpiece.

If you have a heart you will love this movie. I did. A touching, simple yet complex tale about friendship, love and belonging. Kudos to all the cast and writers. Very, very good. I enjoy escapism and mindless action films as much as the next person, but to have found a quiet gem like this was most unexpected. Highly recommended.
