Über diesen Film

In this action comedy inspired by true events, directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite; Nacho Libre), David Ghantt (Zach Galifianakis) discovers the true meaning of adventure far beyond his wildest dreams. He is an uncomplicated man stuck in a monotonous life. Day in and day out he drives an armored vehicle, transporting millions of other people’s money with no escape in sight. The only glimmer of excitement is his flirtatious work crush Kelly Campbell (Kristen Wiig) who soon lures him into the scheme of a lifetime. Along with a group of half-brained criminals led by Steve Chambers (Owen Wilson) and an absurdly faulted heist plan, David manages the impossible and makes off with $17 million in cash…only problem is he foolishly hands the money over to this wild group of double crossers and has been set up to take the fall. With the bandits blowing the millions on lavish and ridiculous luxuries, they leave behind a glaring trail of evidence. Now on the lam and in over his head, David must dodge the authorities, evade a hilarious hit man, Mike McKinney (Jason Sudeikis), and try to turn the tables on the ones he trusted most.

If you're looking for a movie full of laughter and a decent script, look elsewhere. I figured this movie would have been worth the $1 dollar rental, but I was dead wrong. Zach Galifianakis is just plain unfunny in this film, not only that, he is also very hard to keep your eyes on. Most of the film is Zach's hairy, digusting body and shots of his butt crack along with absurd outfits, but I guess that's what Zach's known for. The film sinks as low as having jokes like Zach getting fart on top of, which he calls a "fart implant". There's some familiar faces that I was pleased to see, like Jason Sudeikis (We're the Millers, Horrible Bosses, Always Sunny) and Mary Elizabeth Ellis who is also from Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Jason was somewhat refreshing, and possibly the funniest in the film, but again, every joke in this film was low brow as they could possibly be and fell flat. I would have liked to see more from Mary, who served little purpose. It only took me about 5 minutes to realize I was in for a long, painful ride, having to finish the film the next day. Do yourself a favor, avoid Zach like the plague. I'd rather watch "Leonard Part 6" than this mind numbing trash again.

This movie is for the casual, non-committal viewer. Stick it on when you need something in the background or if you want to just kill some time before an event. The acting is great, the direction is accessible, and the story is interesting though to carry you through. If you're expecting a Michelin-level experience, get a different movie. This one is for us who like to hang out at the diner in what we're already wearing.

Great balance of slap-stick comedy and dry humor. Nice to finally see "Allan from the hanger" play a somewhat whitey role in contrast to his other parts. Worth the rental fee. Would recommend to a friend. and i don't know anything about movies, i m just trying to get one hundred words, but still falling short.
