I can't believe they call this a drama! The Matrix is one of the best trilogies I've heard of. When people saw the first movie they became big fans, but not everybody liked Reloaded and Revolutions, and they were dissapointed, but the first movie was the beggining of everything epic in the trilogy, so in a trilogy, the first movie is the best.

Meh. Saw it on release, didn't like it then, still not a fan. The fight scene after Neo sees the Oracle really doesn't do it any favors - might as well be watching some random game footage which pulls me out of the new dimension and says, hey, you're watching a movie, BUT: THE CHASE SCENE on the freeway? HOLY FORK. THAT. IS. SPECTACULAR. Before my rental expired, i watched that scene again and again, and I'm gonna buy it JUST FOR THAT. When it goes down to a price I'm willing to pay for it, of course.

A mate of mine described going to see this movie as like "you mum ringing you to say the vet put your dig ti sleep. First one good 2 and 3 are poor.
