An exquisite movie. Beautiful to watch. It is a poignant and moving real life story set in Nova Scotia. It is a story about the power of beauty, art and creativity in the most adverse of physical and emotional conditions; a story of a woman's capacity to forgive over and over again. Ultimately it's a story of the power of women to nurture men when they least deserve it, and to triumph because of, or in spite of, doing so. It is worth watching to the very end to catch a glimpse of actual footage of the woman upon whom this story is based.
