Max, a precision-trained military dog, serves on the frontlines in Afghanistan alongside his handler, U.S. Marine Kyle Wincott. But when things go terribly wrong on maneuvers, Kyle is mortally wounded and Max, traumatized by the loss of his best friend, is unable to remain in service. Shipped stateside, the only human he seems willing to connect with is Kyle’s teenage brother, Justin. Justin’s growing trust in Max helps the four-legged veteran revert back to his heroic self, and as the pair race against time to unravel the mystery behind Kyle’s death, they find more excitement—and danger—than they bargained for. Stretched on it too much man, in the movie. The movie is not too exciting, if you are a hachigo fan, you're gonna be disappointed for sure, sorry to ruin your fun, if you saw this comment before watching the movie.

Out of this world. Really awesome Movie. Truly depicts the facts on how our best friend are connected to us and how much genuinely they love us, their dependency,affection and care about us is so genuine.Absolutely adore Max!

Gets into the heart of the human-canine bond. A must see for all dog-lovers. Makes us appreciate & love the wonderful creatures dogs are.
