About this movie

Comedian Maz Jobrani follows up his bestselling book with a comedy special of the same name, I’m Not a Terrorist, but I’ve Played One on TV. In this special Jobrani performs at the world famous Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles where he takes on political issues, social issues and his kids. Jobrani’s comedy with an international flare has been seen in his previous specials, Brown & Friendly and I Come in Peace. Maz co-wrote, produced and starred in the award winning comedy Jimmy Vestvood; Amerikan Hero which is set for a theatrical release in 2016. Jobrani is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, and has given two TED talks. At a time when tensions between the East and the West are high, Jobrani uses his background as an Iranian-American to show that we have a lot more in common than we think. If it’s smart humor you’re looking for you’ve found it. I’m Not a Terrorist, but I’ve Played One on TV will have you laughing while thinking!
