Mike McBride is an ex-cop-turned-attorney with a bad habit: he takes on cases (usually for no fee) where the evidence against the accused looks watertight, and uses his cop skills to unearth fresh evidence and expose the real killer. When a young violinist is found murdered, her fiancé is implicated but could a jealous rival musician be behind the death?
