Shane McConkey is revered as a pioneer of freeskiing and ski-BASE jumping, and through his talent and ability to use his trademark irreverent humor, he inspired countless lives. Featuring incredible action footage and Shane’s own home videos, "McConkey" offers a rare look at his most intense risks as well as an intimate portrait of his personal life. Through interviews with friends, family, and other action sports legends, the film celebrates Shane and the way he lived.
A film from Red Bull Media House in association with Matchstick Productions, "McConkey" celebrates the life of one of the world's ultimate innovators. Proceeds from the film will go to a trust set up for the McConkey family.

I hope everyone sees this just to experience a little piece of what Shane lived by--that to LIVE life your have to push the limits. If you've never seen his amazing feats, then you're in luck b/c footage will blow your mind.

Amazing how inspirational this film is when the tragic ending is a given. Made me go back and rewatch a bunch of old ski movies!
