To many, Don McCullin is the greatest living war photographer, often cited as an inspiration for today's photojournalists. For the first time, McCullin speaks candidly about his three-decade career covering wars and humanitarian disasters on virtually every continent and the photographs that often defined historic moments. From 1969 to 1984, he was the Sunday Times of London's star photographer, where he covered stories from the civil war in Cyprus to the war in Vietnam, from the man-made famine in Biafra to the plight of the homeless in the London of the swinging sixties. Heartwrenching. Honest reflections from a humble man who has witnessed first hand such great atrocity across the world, over several decades. His thoughts on the ethics of photography when in such dire circumstances should be noted by every person that points a camera towards suffering. Nb. The documentary is particularly well pieced together. A difficult but essential watch for aspiring reportage photographers

If you enjoy photography then you will enjoy this documentary, and if you just want to see the world in its worst light, then watch this. It's a moving and eye opening experience for those who have not seen the darker side of life, and shows you that 1 picture can say more than a thousand words.

An amazing documentary done with dignity and respect don mckullin is a superb photojournalist reporting the fact without being biast highly recommended I bought it for my dad who loves photography and we both th thoroughly enjoyed it
