Everything is set for the rehearsal. Nothing can go wrong. Then, in the grandest of entrances, she walks in - international star Karin Anderson. She and the married maestro soon begin a passionate affair. Love and the lunacy have no rehearsals.

The film was a surprise to us. Glenn Close and Niels Arestrup deliver enormous performances. At times the film makes you feel you are not watching a film, you are not watching actors, but your experiencing a profound, joyful, great story in front of your eyes. Bravo István Szabó.
