Saw this in the movie theater when it was first released and at the time I was blown away by the FX, Plus the cast were all great in it. Never read the book but the movie is amazing especially for the early 90s and with a great story, cast ,FX etc it's definitely worth watching Plus it still holds up in 2021 which special effects rarely do 30 years later. John Carpenter's most underrated movie.
