Let's get something straight, this movie is sad, has negative energy that wants to make you cry and not in a good way. The commentary is mildly amusing but that is it. Although it points out very well that adults make mistakes, sometimes more grand than their children, the point the movie is trying to make is overbearing that made me feel like I want to turn it off and watch something cheery.

This film had so much potential and yet it went in a direction I definitely could not foresee, in spite of the predictable interwoven plot lines of the characters lives and choices. Men, Women & Children was undercut by an unusual and implicit argument, smuggled into the film as a theme or motif of our--that is, humanity's--meaningless existence and utter helplessness against the black backdrop of abysmal space and time, juxtaposed with the woes of technology's illicit use. What on earth does one do with this kind of a message? If it all is truly meaningless, then just how absolute and meaningFUL are the closing words of the film's narrator? At best, the narrators closing words are robbed from the sentiments of theism. And to trod out the films depression to its logical end, there is no objective reason, standard or purpose in a meaningless universe on a pale blue dot by which human beings are obliged to align themselves to ever entertain the notion of peace on earth and good will toward men in the event that we decide to kill one another with our iPhones. This is clever most depressing agenda being spouted at our youth in sententious filmic sheep's clothing.

A movie for everyone to know what might happen after stupid decisions for every stage of life, from being a teen in high school to even an adult. Quite frankly this movie had likable moments, not because of the decisions made by the characters but for the reflections and message from this movie which is; DON"T THINK ONECE, THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU ACT!!!
