On his last day of deployment in Afghanistan, Marine and Recon Specialist John Colter [Sinqua Walls] is devastated by a life-changing incident while in combat. Physically wounded and mentally in shock, Colter is sent to a VA facility in Montana. When traditional treatment and therapy fail to engage Colter, he is introduced to a Vietnam veteran, Ike [Brian Cox], who teaches him to deal with his trauma through fly fishing.

Perhaps it is just my passion for fly fishing but this movie is inspiring on many different levels. Treat yourself to an evening of joy and tears as you experience the healing waters that can only come from dedicating yourself to something larger than yourself.
