The worst adaptation of Miami Vice, where you end up sleeping through most of it with the amount of confusion on what's happening with no actual story, all over the place, with no connection to the original, its completely different with only the names of the characters being the only connection it has to the orignal. Disappointing since the director is the original director of the legendary 80s TV show Miami Vice with this being just being the opposite, truly an awful adapation. 23.05.23

The movie was ok not as good as the series. Hard to replace Don Johnson as Sonny's character and Tubbs for that matter. Jamie Foxx did well and I felt that he was a decent choice as Tubbs. Colin Farrell although he is a decent actor and I like his movies but the person cast for Crockett's character should have been Sawyer from the series Lost. Just saying....

I actually went to the theater to see this garbaaaage. I wanted to throw popcorn, soda, trash chairs, people at the screen (haven't felt like that in twenty years!). This movie was horrible. BTW don't listen to people saying this was a great movie. They want you to waste your money also. Misery loves company!
