Sobre este filme

Gil is a Californian hack who churns out screenplays but dreams of writing a novel. He and his fiancée Inez have come to Paris to sigh dreamily as they wander its boulevards and the banks of the Seine. The trouble is that Inez's Tea Party-supporting parents are with them. Another problem is that Inez prefers to spend her time in the company of her college crush Paul, a pompous visiting academic who's in town to deliver a lecture at the Sorbonne. MPAA Rating: PG-13 2011 Gravier Productions, Inc., Mediaproduccion S.L.U. and Versatil Cinema S.L. All Rights Reserved.

Quentin Tarentino, the brilliant and maybe most original director of this era, was on the Howard Stern show a while back and said he watched this movie like ten times when it was in the theater. So I bought it; watched it once. Then a couple of days later I watched it again. As I write this I am watching it for probably the 5th time. There are so many references, often obscure, to early 20th century artists and writers, it is easy to miss them the first couple times through. It is a perfect little movie.

I usually like Owen Wilson movies, but this one was bad. It felt like one of those after school specials where the kids get sent back in time to some period and just happen to meet every famous person from that time period in the space of an hour. The dialogue is outrageously bad and the acting from everyone is over the top, unbelievable and unnatural.

Great movie. But the end left me wanting more still..felt like it came to an abrupt halt where something else should have happened with this night time events(avoided spoiler by stating this way)
