Ultimately his father risks everything to protect Alton and help fulfill a destiny that could change the world forever, in this genre–defying film as supernatural as it is intimately human.

I really enjoyed it, much like his "Take Shelter". Shannon is a great actor as well - he suits Nichols' movies to the t. The cast in general was really nice and complementary to the story. Thumbs up!

It feels like there's a hint of a story there, but there's a reluctance in telling it.
