Gil (Owen Wilson: Wedding Crashers, The Royal Tenenbaums) and Inez (Rachel McAdams: Sherlock Holmes, The Notebook) are engaged to be married, on holidays in Paris with her parents. They are officially in love, but maybe what Gil really loves is Paris in the springtime.

Gil is quick to admit he's a nostalgic who feels like he was born in the wrong time. The past seems much more exciting than the moment he lives in. Exploring Paris on his own, Gil embarks on an enchanted journey to discover streets alive with hidden wonders that will change his life forever.

Midnight in Paris' wonderful cast alongside Wilson and McAdams includes Kathy Bates (Titanic) Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon), Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose) and Adrien Brody (The Pianist).

For me , one of the best movies in the last 20 years. so many surprises throughout and the time night travelling is quite interesting. All the actors did a great job. Fave saying is where does Gil go every night.

If you didn't know otherwise, you would guess the director from the verbiage offered by the main characters. The setting is awesome and the cast likewise. A firm personal favourite

A movie with a lacklustre and utterly predictable plot with no redeeming qualities save the intermittent Paris backdrops.
