One of my friends put this movie on and I enjoyed it until I saw the lack of subtitles when the Japanese were talking. I stopped watching the movie and when I got home, I put it on through my cable providers on demand and there was subtitles while the Japanese were talking. Some movies don't let you see what the other languages are saying, and I thought this movie might have been one of them, but it is not. If the Japanese subs are not there on your version, get another copy. Great movie.

Good movie but there most cutscene has japanese dialogue without subtitle conversation make me lose entertained and cause me very sleepy. I could not understand what they says. Guess I assume someone made less important foreign japanese conversation are also unnecessary subtitle caption. I'm disappointed this midway movie doesn't have show hiroshima nuclear clips in the story of pearl harbor. If you don't like to become boring when you see people talk too much in entire time running until the end video, don't waste your money on Midway.

I had to take a break from watching 20 minutes in because of how historically inaccurate everything was - We already have an action packed historically inaccurate Michael Bay Pearl Harbor movie, so I was hoping this would take the chance to be better. Not at all. Facts and details about the attack on Pearl Harbor are abundant and in depth, but the movie didn't even try to do any research on how the attack happened. Many MANY other inaccuracies, but I hope you'll just take my word for it.
