While this movie is awful in many obvious ways, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Objectively I should rate as a 3/5, especially since I don't think it will age well (and especially compared to the WWII greats), I can't help but smile and cheer for the strategic politicking, pilots, commanders, and intelligence officers on both sides.

Some really bland acting. Even the good actors like Woody Harleson and Dennis Quiad give boring, flat performances. The guy who plays the main character has all the charisma and charm of a card board cutout.

The lead pilot in this movie was absolutely terrible, not believable, tried too hard to play a bad ass, too many close ups on him, just horrible acting all around. Totally down played the whole movie. What a joke. 2 thumbs way down.
