I am a massive military history nut, so was looking forward to this movie. This movie was a struggle to sit through, the acting was rubbish, abit over the top, made me want the japanese to win. The movie is shot entirely on green screen, with pretty basic special effect, so it takes you out of the experience. I would wait until its out for free!

$25 digital copy and no 4K or subs = poor value for money ☹GOOGLE STOP ACTIVELY DISCRIMINATING AGAINST HEARING IMPAIRED. THIS MOVIE WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPED BY GIVING HISTORICAL CONTEXT. WHERE IS THE 4K VERSION? Thank god that there's no pointless love affair. The movie set itself a lot of ambitious historical targets and did a good job with most. The clothing seemed authentic. Main characters were all good. I was happy political correctness didn't hide Hirohito from the knowledge of and prosecution of the Pacific war in general and the dishonorable behaviour of Japan in China and across the Pacific. Honor is universal. The Japanese code of honour earned, correctly, the destruction of that nation. Hirohito should have been tried for war crimes. The action sequences were excellent. The role of codebreakers and intelligence was very realistic.

Great Fantastic Movie....but if your one of "Those" nutter people that complain that a Jeep of the period was the wrong shade of Green or...a Uniform had the wrong style Button or that they didnt use REAL Planes...maybe not
