Om den här filmen

Honest enough to trust. Crooked enough to get the job done. A film noir comedy about a private eye, a husband who wants to stay lost, and a wacky cast of characters.

Mike Case is a low-rent private detective who works out of his car and advertises on Craigslist. When hired by the sexy yet unstable socialite Victoria Billows to find her missing husband, Lennie, Mike finds himself face to face with raving lunatics, new age con artists, and, of course, beautiful women. Join Mike on the Billows case and see if he gets his man. Or his woman, for that matter.

That Mike Case is one lucky guy. Mike is surrounded by several beautiful women, James Bond style, only Mike is such an ordinary guy with a few very unique quirks. I enjoyed taking this journey with him, his partners in crime, and his lady friends. Funny Film. Lovely, Sexy Ladies. I recommend watching this.

Funny characters!!! Mike Case was such a fun character. One adventure after another with this film. Vinny the thug was also a hysterical character...loved the accent!

Being a bit of a fan of the film noir genre with a comedy twist I was intrigued to come across this movie. Ok, it has received what one may say could be more than it’s fair share of awards, but does that really mean it is any good? I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one was a real gem with the all the stylishness, sexual connotation and cynical expression that the genre requires. Yes the acting was good and the quality otherwise was good, however, this went that bit further. It was really funny and engaged me from the outset. It was one of those films that makes the clock go unnaturally fast (not that I was checking it mind). One aspect that impressed me was that this was a brave creation and a challenge to the ‘lets pander to the current trend’ big studio type of output. It epitomised what independent film is about: Originality, creativity and risk-taking. I think it has found a nice and I hope that it gets the exposure that it so rightly deserves.
