I found this to be a really beautifully edited portrait of Milford. I would love to see a more "traditional" documentary in which I could learn about the sort of standard narrative of what formed him/his life, but this is a differently tasked documentary, with the goal of showing - as best as is able - the experience of Milford Graves. And I think it excelled at this. I was really moved.
