The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions begins at the dawn of time. Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. The kids and I love the minions but this was just a little bit lacking in the story department. I fell its not until halfway that the movie gets going. The jokes are just not that funny and it felt a little bit forced at times. My 9yo said at one stage "this movie isn't very interesting mum, we should've got a different one" he was definitely underwhelmed hahah!! I wouldn't recommend wasting any money on this one. Maybe wait for it to come out on Netflix or something.

One of the weakest spin offs I've ever seen. This is a boring, predictable mess with kid comedy and terrible characters. It will only please the very young or die hard minion fans

No idea why this got low reviews. My 3 year old nephew loves this movie and now loves eating BANANAS, and I was cracking up all the way through. I've watched it at least ten times now and I'll be watching it again.
