When this movie is taken in context it makes sense. Carpenter wanted to turn the Halloween movies into an anthology. Making a different Halloween (NOT about Michael Myers) but different movies taking place ON and ABOUT Halloween. The misguided studio execs did not know how to market this, had no faith in it and it tanked. FORGET lame Myers and watch on its own

This movie is actually unironically pretty fun, it's not really a good movie but that's why it's such a good movie. I think this movie is actually good because it has Steve Carell's gru, which is why I did not like the Minions movie and yes I know I gave minions a three stars but I was being over exaggerated it's actually a two stars it's painfully mediocre. This is the first good illumination movie since the grinch..... KING BOOOBBB

BEST MOVIE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD (other than morbius) A stunning performance by gru as himself in a movie that will overtake titles such as "The Godfather" in popularity. Also the minions have gigantic booties.
