A wartime film from a different perspective... I'm glad that we can see an example on the screen that Black Americans did have a significant contribution to the war effort despite rampant racism and sometimes being relegated to support assignments.

wish I could rate it lower. terribly written, awful acting, historically inaccurate, incredibly racist, offensive to African American veterans. watch only for the lolz

Good story.. I don't know how accurate or inaccurate it was but I have yet to see a accurate war movie since I was never in any war.
