This is a myth, a surreal fairy tale. It's stakes aren't high, but you'll have an emotional reaction nonetheless. I'd say this embodies Joseph Campbell's teaching on myth better than anything by anyone who thinks he was talking about structure. Excuse the convoluted sentence.
