Hunters have been disappearing from North American wildlands for hundreds of years, many without leaving a trace. Former police detective David Paulides was initially brought on to investigate the circumstances around the many mysterious disappearances - here he presents the haunting true stories of hunters experiencing the unexplainable. Missing 411: The Hunted is based on the book by Paulides, which documents 185 cases of missing peoples from four different countries. All 185 cases fit a narrowly defined profile that was refined after researching thousands of missing person reports; these cases are the most difficult, defy common sense, challenge conventional wisdom and remain unexplained.

The comment below where he gives a “one star” based on the ages of the 2 hunters documented is pathetic. How do you explain an 80 year old man who was sitting down and literally vanished and to this day was never found. Why does age matter? If anything it only makes it more mysterious since an 80 year old with one disabled eye shouldn’t be able to travel far and further more never be found after weeks of hundreds of search and rescue persons and cadaver dogs can not locate him. Right from the start bad weather inundates the area right after these people (of all ages) go missing. This is a repetitive aspect in these cases whereby most are of younger people. In this documentary he just happens to hone in on hunters. I’ve read all of David Paulides’ books and they all are fascinating at the very least. Something is without a doubt going on and if not for his long tedious work looking for these cases via the original internet aka library newspapers, we would not ever hear about the thousands of cases. That and the fact that the it’s not in the interest of the government to share their thoughts on this unexplained ongoing situation. I advise people to see this documentary and his other documentary (there are two) as well as read his books. It will honestly blow your mind.

Very nicely done movie/documentary. i rented it 1st, but just purchased it here on Playstore. Theyve made it very clear to understand whats happened & I cant see anything that could be improved, other than being longer w more cases, but hopefully there will b more movie/docs coming out. Thank you Mr Paulides & everyone for your investigations, time, & for caring enough to dedicate yourselves to finding out as much as possible! God bless & you'll all b in my prayers

I've told a few close friends about this movie after watching it. I have been intrigued by the very few cases I've come across by listening to podcasts and David's YouTube channel. I've thought about buying the books and have now been swayed to do just that. Not one of those podcasts had, with surgical precision, delivered the horror these families are, or have been, experiencing due to the mystery surrounding these cases. Heard the recorded "voices" on the film and am now flabbergasted
