Ok, so I'm on the fence about this movie. The story is good, however it is WAY too linear compared to the other Laika movies. I had high expectations after the masterpiece that was Kubo and the Two Strings, but Missing Link didn't quite reach that mark for me. I know some people will love this movie, and that's fine. For me though, I wish they would have taken more risks with the story.

If you've seen other great Laika stop-motion films (Coraline, Box Trolls, Kubo, ParaNorman) and liked those, you'll be happy with "Missing Link". While I did enjoy this film, I don't think it didn't grabbed me as much as their previous ones. It felt like a very by-the-numbers film where the protagonists have different goals towards their own happiness, but in the end they discover that what they really needed was right in front of them the whole time.

A little violent In this movie, about 3 people weilded guns for shooting the person who wants to kull the main character, a woman who wants to kill the man who wants to kill the man who wants to kill the main character, and the one with a rifle who is also an old man who shoots a bridge to collapes. Then 2 people drink wine on a boat. Then one was dangling from the bridge but then susan accendaltly drops a icicle, which stabs the bad guy, also i think i saw a little blood when he was falling die.
