Acerca de esta película

On a dangerous assignment to recover stolen plutonium, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) chooses to save his team over completing the mission, allowing nuclear weapons to fall into the hands of a deadly network of highly-skilled operatives intent on destroying civilization. Now, with the world at risk, Ethan and his IMF team (Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson) are forced to become reluctant partners with a hard-hitting CIA agent (Henry Cavill) as they race against time to stop the nuclear fallout. There’s never been a threat more destructive, stunts so jaw-dropping or a mission so impossible!

This is in my top 5 of all time (For comparison, my top 5 also includes Team America: World Police, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fargo and The World's End). Tom Cruise really out did himself with the literally breathtaking film. Not one moment feels stale or to long. This is the best action movie since Mad Max: Fury Road. Watching this in the theater was pure adrenaline. This film is 2 and 1/2 hours long, but it feels like 1. It's truly amazing. Highly recommend

Once again we are presented with a film in which the outcome won't matter to the viewer, nor who lives or dies. Although the plot is convoluted and sloppy the movie is watchable which puts it above 90 percent of what is produced by Hollywood. I partially wish the women had more screen time but given the framing of their characters would likely be from an annoying feminist angle I'll accept what was given and not complain.

With all the star power, I expected much more from this installment of Mission Impossible. Thumbs up to Alec Baldwin, who is often omitted when the cast is discussed. Of course, Cruise, Rhames, and Monoghan are good. But the plot is extremely predictable, often slow and boring, and the chase scenes are just okay. The overall plot is extremely overused, and the ending predictable. Please go watch "Enemy of the State" with Will Smith instead.
