A freshman filmmaker follows Tim Heidecker during the final month of his campaign for district attorney. What begins as a profile of an outsider candidate facing an uphill battle evolves into a study of toxic delusion as Tim's motivations and controversial past begin to unravel his candidacy. Taking on a popular incumbent has found Tim and his inexperienced campaign manager outmatched. Low on funds, experience, and connections, Tim hits the streets in an attempt to connect with voters, but has difficulty winning over the community. With word of his campaign spreading, former associates of Tim try to warn the public with stories of bad business deals, strained friendships, and a failed court case in which he found himself accused of murder. With days until the election and his campaign in free fall, Tim has to confront the unexpected costs of pursuing his dream.

Graderings en resensies

I would have liked to see more footage about the VFA. Big mistake to leave hours or movie expertice on the cutting room floor. So many classics to discuss in depth when you have an expert at your disposal. I only give it 4 bags, for not putting in more talk from movie buffs, but another bag capturing Tim's heartwarming send off the electric sun 19, for a total of 5 bags. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

I've heard all I need to from the horse's mouth. Tim Heidecker says don't see this movie because the director is a liar and a cheat. I will watch it, but I will be matching the price of this rental in the form of a donation directly to the Tom Cruise Jr. Memorial Arts Fund so real art representing real values can thrive.

As a huge On Cinema and Tim Heidecker fan i give this 5 bags of popcorn. However, Greg Turkington was an absolute embarrassment to the On Cinema family in this production and you can just tell he is not built for the big screen like Tim is.
