Henry Fonda is restless to see actual combat during World War II, but is stuck on a cargo ship with a crew of practical jokers who torment James Cagney, their slightly crazy captain. From Academy Award-winning director John Ford ("Stagecoach," "The Grapes of Wrath") and Mervyn LeRoy ("Little Caesar," "Gypsy"), featuring a stellar cast of screen legends: Fonda, Cagney, Lemmon and William Powell ("The Thin Man"), in his final film. One of the greatest movies ever made, couldnt get a better cast. One that i can wacth over and over!

One of the best films, and a great showcase for its stars. It's one of the few films I could watch almost anytime!

I've enjoyed this movie since I was a kid, never gets old. A good watch..
