I think this movie only got bad reviews and an atrocious Rotten Tomatoes score only because of Adam Sandler being in it. Opinions are opinions, but Steve Martin as Phillip without a doubt saved this from being a total disaster.

There has never been a group of people who deserve a great Christmas as much as these guys. I have loved this movie for decades and am so happy to have found it on Google. It's worth the money just to be able to run around all year long quoting it.

We've watched this every year for as long as I remember. As we got older the humor is a little more understandable. Miss my mother at this time of year. She'd be hysterical over this purchase.
