Incredible performance from Faye Dunaway. Incredible acting of the child actors and the young teen Christina. I was very deeply sad for the children in this. M. Crawford deeply emotionaly disturbed. Whatever happened to her own passed as child. And behind close doors who knows. The beautiful thing after the death of J.Crawford. At the end of the film. As for Mommie D., there are lots of people who shouldn't really have babies because they don't seem to care to have any responsibilities. They just want to have sex all the time. In this movie, she wanted to adopt kid because of her ego not love. Why people are so selfish is the root of all problems.

yes Faye Dunaway did a great job playing Joan Crawford but Joan Crawford was very mean to her adopted children. Faye Dunaway said that she didn't like this role.
