I like sports movies. I like Brad Pitt. Jonah Hill was great. Just didn't move me. Seems all characters were deliberately cold. Left me with an empty feeling. No one to root for, oddly enough. (Baseball isn't a boring sport, btw. Fans don't have what it takes to get involved anymore. You have to watch, as if you're playing, but you get to scream at the ump. I know. I was a New Yorker, when we had 3 teams. We were are on the edge of our seats and the tops of our lungs. "Get some glasses, Ump!")

I recently rewatched Moneyball. Definitely one of the best movies of the decade. Seeing it at this time, 2018, when so many Hollywood movies are just plain bad made me appreciate how good the directing and acting is in this film. A true treasure.

The people below that are reviewing this movie negatively are 29 year-old minor league bat boys. This is one of the best baseball movies in a long time, with a great cast. If you don't like this movie, then you should try to watch a movie about tennis.
