This is not thrilling in the least. I thought this may be a monster romp, but how wrong I was. It had hardly any monsters, and most of it was just pretty locations. Shame really, it had good premise.

A much slower and more character driven film than I expected, but even so, a remarkable achievement by director Gareth Evans given the meagre budget. Shame the story is so weak, though.

Those that hated this, clearly watched on a superficial level and have low capacities for existential thinking and philosophy. This film had astonishing depth and draws a kind of individual to it. Thus, it won't be for everyone, so the trolls should stick to Segal and Stallone.
