Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A space probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear and half of Mexico was fenced off and quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures".

MONSTERS follows a U.S. journalist escorting an American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the U.S. border, all the while trying to stay alive in an alien-infested war zone. ┬й Vertigo Slate 2010

Probably the worst film iv ever seen in my life. Its slow, with bad acting and a cliche storyline and you don't even get to see the alien till the last 5 mins and the whole scene is just low budget and disconnected from the rest of the film. Waste of time and money.

Excellent film, but the English subtitles (in-film) are clipped by the envelope of the screen, and so this is not worth paying for. Get it together Google!!

Does have a documentary feel as another reviewer says, and because of that it feels all the more real. I would also agree it'll be a disappointment for those expecting an action packed hollywood horror.
