I bought this movie based on the previous reviews not knowing the actor Sam Rockwell but recognised him straight away from 'The Green Mile'. I was blown away by his powerful performance in that movie and now in this too. Not a high octane shootemup but really well thought out, provoking story that had me hooked to the end. Thoroughly enjoyable. Maybe we are all really in the 'matrix' !!

A one-man tour de force from Sam Rockwell (although the virtual presence of Kevin Spacey brings a layer of menace and at the same time ironic humanity). Beautifully constructed on so many levels. Visually, textually and dramatically brilliant. Moody and disturbing - don't watch it alone!

Considering the budget, this is an excellent film that, being British, is typically understated and melancholic. A perfect antidote to "The Martian" which I was hoping would be a film about isolation but turned out to be a feelgood movie.
