Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two 12-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. In my opinion it is a very boring and weird movie with a strange scattered plot. You may like it, and most of its ratings on here are good, but personally, I would never recomend it.

What life truly like before mobile phones, computers, and the internet. The world was a much smaller place but during this time we lived larger than life stories. This could be anyone's story about the biggest moments in their young life. Everyone in this movie portrayed their specific character perfectly. The older generation will love this but younger audiences just won't understand why it is so special.

This is definetly not a movie everyone will enjoy, it has a wierd, awkward and sacarstic humor and lots of almost empty moments which gives a "magical and childlike feel". All in all this is definitely my favorite movie of the year so far!
