In this spellbinding thriller, a sleepy Norwegian town erupts after an American backpacker is arrested. Witnesses claim a teen died after touching the stranger, and that he inexplicably started a fire that engulfed a farm. I enjoyed this movie a lot! The special effects were on-par, if not better with those of Marvel movies. I loved how the writers showed a darker story to the origin story of this hero. The script could have developed the character a bit more, but overall a great movie. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't so action packed and focused more on discovery. If the ending was longer and more developed, I would have given it 5 stars. Hoping for a sequel and deeper character development.

European filmmaking is a curious thing speaking as someone who grew up watching US movies. Which probably explains why I yearned for more character development. That being said and put aside, I enjoyed the movie and didn't get the Thor origin story connection until the end even though I might have suspected that was where we were going. After mulling it over for while, I would like to watch the movie again which in and of itself speaks to the quality of the movie.

90 percent of the time you had NO idea what was being said, it was boring as hell until the last three minutes, then it just plain ended. NO ryme or reason to this movie NOT worth the money
