MMA fighter Cole Young, accustomed to taking a beating for money, is unaware of his heritage—or why Outworld's Emperor Shang Tsung has sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero, an otherworldly Cryomancer, to hunt Cole down. Fearing for his family's safety, Cole goes in search of Sonya Blade at the direction of Jax, a Special Forces Major who bears the same strange dragon marking Cole was born with. Soon, he finds himself at the temple of Lord Raiden, an Elder God and the protector of Earthrealm, who grants sanctuary to those who bear the mark. Here, Cole trains with experienced warriors Liu Kang, Kung Lao and rogue mercenary Kano, as he prepares to stand with Earth’s greatest champions against the enemies of Outworld in a high stakes battle for the universe. But will Cole be pushed hard enough to unlock his arcana—the immense power from within his soul—in time to save not only his family, but to stop Outworld once and for all?

I don't expect it will follow the game ridiculous story line exactly because it ain't gonna happened in real life but, this movie is actually good in its own way and try to be as logic it can be in the same time as good as how the game is. And it try it best to fit gamers and movie goers in the same time. I think it's fairly good and enjoy to watched. Real fans surely have their own moment during certain scenes like how Kung Lao slah Nitara witg his Razor Blade Hat. It such an epic moment!! 😀

DONT RENT!! Heavy censorship. Important fatality scenes that make Mortal Kombat what it is were cut in this version from Google Play Movies. Not worth paying RM40 for a rent. Probably better to just wait for it to be out on Netflix. All in all a good movie in my opinion. The sequel will definitely have more potential. Hopefully with a better soundtrack from top electronic music artists [hint hint].

The best movie ive seen. I like violonce. But violence isnt the answer. GET OVER HERE 1 STAR USERS!
