When the imprisoned Emery Simms is murdered, new evidence surfaces threatening to uncover the dark secrets behind Emery's best friend Brandon's role in the wrongful incarceration. The most lethal of these secrets, Emery's estranged brother Donovan, soon emerges from a shady past to assist with the investigation, taking a particularly keen interest in the case. With Brandon now married to his dead brother's ex-wife, and new motives abounding at every turn, Donovan has no idea that the secrets he unearths may find himself digging his own grave right next to his brother.
