This movie is the purest expression of beauty and yeah that's a slight exaggeration but it's real pretty and funny and makes me feel things. So I love it now and ya'll can fight me. Okay maybe not "fight" fight but atleast argue spiritly with whomever does not, by some strange curse from the gods, see the glorious loveliness that is this film. Then again maybe these poor, cursed people deserve my pity. Anyway! Light a candle, have some tea, make a list of reasons to hate it, and fall in love.

An excellent cast, a wonderful story. Explores regency themes like cost of too much self pride, the tension between societal approval and personal joy. If you like Jane Austen-esque stories, this is another one to add to the collection. Truly a delight.

I wanted Pride and Prejudice, Sanditon, or Persuasion. This did not deliver, it was quite boring I'm sorry to say
