MRS LOWRY AND SON tells the story of how famed British artist L.S. Lowry lived all of his life with his overbearing mother, a deterring voice as he pursued his artistic ambition. However, a rent collector by day, Lowry took art classes in the evening and painted into the early hours to become one of the most significant artists of the 20th Century.

The life of an artist is never easy. Beautiful acting, the loneliness of painting, courage, his mother's disappointed life and how happy he was when he finally painted something that lifted her spirits, and his ultimate success as a beloved painter. Beautiful!

Poor man endured alot of spewing hate ...may he rest in peace over his beautiful work. Interesting movie, though hard to watch.
